It depends whether you are a man or a woman. In recent stidues, a link has been shown between longevity in men and high levels of DHEA. There's no corresponding link for women, though.

This could indicate increased adrenal gland output, usually related to stress and/or high glucose levels. It could also be a result of overuse of OTC DHEA supplements.

dehydroepiandrosterone is a hormone secreted by the adrenal gland. it is a precursorto maleand female sex hormones. they start to decrease after 30 years of age. DHEA may cause the secretion of higher level of androgen and oestrogen in the body and may cause ovarian, breast and other hormone sensitive cancers.

It means that your harmone level is imbalanced. It may leads to fatigue ,High blood pressure. Avoid taking drugs & steroids.

If your DHEA levels are high you could be experiencing high hormone levels often associated with polycystic ovarian disease. Consult with your local physician for possible causes and their associated treatment plans. Have your DHEA level's checked again because although it happened once it may have been a one time thing
