Laparoscopic surgery is the most common surgery done to remove the gallbladder. It is very safe, and people who have it usually recover in about one week.

This can vary from patient to patient, but the standard recover time for a gall bladder removal surgery is four to six weeks. Patients are usually able to care for themselves after two weeks.

Recovery time seem to be 4 to 5 days after surgery the patient should be up and walking. It could take up to 35 days for a full recovery.

That depends on your overall health. Most jobs will give you six weeks to heal and recover to go back to work. People I personally know say it takes about one week to ten days to start to feel real good again. It will also depend on how the gallbladder was removed.
