Total time for recovery, after cataract surgery is six weeks. However, the most troublesome after effects such as pain should pass within the first three to five days. During the six weeks discomfort, sensitivity to light, and drainage is normal. Severe pain or headaches after tree days should be reported.

Generally speaking most people's discomfort levels will lessen after two or three days however it will take approximately six weeks for the average person to fully recover. Each person's recovery time does vary depending on the severity of their condition.

The recovery time, of course, depends on the individual's body but usually, a person that had cataract surgery will recover in a month or less, time in which he/she will need medical care, checks to see how the healing process is going and eye drops in order to stop microorganisms from infecting the eye.

Healing should be complete in 6 to 8 weeks but an eye shield and sunglasses should be worn to help protect the eyes, also use of eye drops as needed.

The doctor that we work with in our office says any where from two to six weeks of healing. I have seen some patients do very well the day after, well others need alittle more time to heal depending on how dense the cataract was.

It can be as little as a few days or as much as a month. It depends on the individual and how quickly their body heals from the procedure and what methods the doctor used.

It varies but is usually very short between two and six weeks. There is a chance that the same day of surgery a patients vision will improve but for most it improves after a few days. If your mother wore glasses before surgery she will need to get a new prescription.

Your mother will be recovering from surgery for around a month. After the one month period cataracts could return in the form of a cloud over the lens.

I appreciate the Cataracts recovery time is two or three weeks, but like any surgery at all, man recovery time is different. Everyone heals at different for each person is different recovery can be after a week of people already feel the difference and can be people (mostly older) feel the healing after three - two weeks
