What is involved in shoeing Arabian horses?

I need to shoe my horse.

It's the same as all horses. Trim your horses feet when they need it. DO NOT attempt it if you don't know what you're doing, you could make them founder.

A professional farrier can evaluate the individual horse for crookedness, legs of varying length, foot shape issues, or unsoundness that should be addressed with shoeing. In addition, some activities have special shoe needs, and this must also be considered.

Arabian horses are no different than any other horse. Make sure someone is at the head of the horse so the horse will not more or try to bite the blacksmith. The blacksmith takes one hoof at a time and will go at the horses pace.
