Women's reactions are all different, you could expect very sensitive nipples, and they will generally get a lot darker in color in the areola area. At any point during the pregnancy you could experience discharge coming from your nipple. The discharge is called colostrum, which is wonderful for the baby when just born.

Nipples during pregnancy will become extremly sore and sensitive to touch. A good bra will help with the soreness by support. Nipple glands will sometimes become plugged and cause them to swell. Nipples will also become a darker color during pregnancy.

In the beginning of the pregnancy the breasts will become larger. I assume the nipples will as well. Toward the end of the pregnancy, as your body prepares for birth, nipples will become harder. This gets them ready for breastfeeding, which will make this very necessary. I have no idea if there is any color change involved.

Every woman is differnt, but your nipples may become sore or sensitive. This is because the body's hormones change when you are pregnant. Hormones might make your nipples sensitive to the touch or even hurt or grow.
