You can put something that the dog doesn't like to eat on the leash, such as squeezing lemon juice or lime juice on it. That way he will be conditioned not to do that anymore.

The one thing I know about this that works is taking the leash away, putting a toy in his mouth and praising him or her for chewing the toy. Also in the pet store's there is Bitter Apple and you can spray that on the leash and it works.

When you walk your puppy keep the leash taught behind the puppy giving only a small space to walk as the puppy walks better and becomes trained try allowing a little bit more leash.

There is a spray you can buy called bitter apple. You can spray some on the leash and when the dog bites it he won't like it. He will stop after a few times tasting it.
