Check out Balboa Island, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, San Clemente Beach, Sunset Beach, Surfside, Corona Del Mar and Dana Point. All are beautiful, popular and great for people watching.

Both Huntington Beach and Bolsa Chica Beach are great and beautiful beaches with lots to do for families in Orange County.

Choose a beach with facilities like rest rooms and showers because one of the keys to an enjoyable family beach day are good amenities. Try the State Beach at Corona del Mar, the Doheny State Beach at Dana Point which also has camping facilities, or the Bolsa Chica at Huntington Beach which has great picnic tables and fire pits.

Corona Del Mar is a very family friendly beach. Lots of fire pits to gather around. They also have a "Little Corona" which is a lot of fun for kids.
