I have a picture on my DVD player but no sound. What's wrong?

Check your audio inputs in your television and be sure that you have your audio and video plugged into the same channel input.

There are a couple of reasons this could be. The sound on the TV could be off or the speakers could be damaged. Most likely the video cables are plugged in but the audio cable is loose. Make sure all cables from the DVD player are securely plugged in.

It depends what are you playing. If you play a movie which you wrote on CD then this is the problem otherwise check the plugs.

Without knowing more about your DVD player and whether or not you mean an actual video/movie has no sound when you turn on your DVD player, the cause could be anything from bad drivers to bad imput/output connections.
