Does the New Guinea Singing Dog really sing?

They have some defect/feature in their throats that stop them from being able to make a bark sound. Instead it's a high pitched one-note howl which sounds like singing.

They call it singing because of its different howls it does. It has different pitches and howls at different times indicating different things to get the owners attention. When they are happy the sing in one pitch, while they are tired the can sing in another.

They do sing. 2 months ago I went to an opera and all the members of it were dogs. My dog likes to sing We R Who We R on fridays. Its really cool. They are like parrots. SO get one and hear a sing dog now!
