Why do we need religion?

No one needs religion. A lot of people want religion. It helps them answer questions that have no answers. It's about faith. It's also about an enormously profitable business for a lot of people, particularly the principlals of the various sects.

To show love to one another.... This teaching includes everything in it.... To make people believe that there definitely is a power above everything.... This is the purpose of religion.

Religion gives meaning to our lives and helps us understand why we are here and what we are supposed to be doing.
