It might be related to how much coffee you drink during the week as opposed to weekends. Usually if you stop caffeine suddenly you'll develop a headache.

There are a large number of reasons. Stress, or the relative reduction is stress from weekday to weekend may actual be one cause of stress, even though it seems counterintuitive. More likely, you are a coffee drinker and drink far less on the weekend. The lack of caffeine is the most likely cause.

There are a number of reasons for headaches, most likely, a change in your routine, something you consume during the week, that you do not on the weekend, or something you consume on the weekend that you do not during the week. Sleep changes, alcohol, caffiene.

Changing any lifestyle habits from weekdays to weekends can cause headaches. For examples changes in sleep patterns, sugar or alcohol intake, or even time spent in front of a computer or t.v. screen can make a difference in how your body responds and can lead to headaches.
