Moses was a Hebrew foundling adopted by Pharaoh's daughter. Aware of his heritage, he fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian oppressor. Returning years later, he led the Hebrews out of Egypt and into the Sinai where they wandered 40 years and received the Ten Commandments and the Mosaic law. He is credited with the first five books of the Bible.

Moses is a major figure in the Old Testament of the Bible who led the Jews out of Egypt and brought the Ten Commandments down while they wandered the desert.

Moses was a Biblical leader who led the Jewish People-Then called Hebrews-Out of Egypt. He is the most important profit in the Jewish faith. He is important in other faiths.
