My favorite biblical characters are Ruth, Esther, Peter, Daniel and so many more. All the biblical characters are so real and can always be compared to us everyday. God used those people to help us know how to live our lives.

Jesus certainly qualifies :) Also Paul, an intelligent scholar who became a follower of Christ, and Joseph, a man who saw God's hand moving in every situation, even bad ones.
