You'll probably get the most money for your scrap gold if you take it to a pawn shop or a jeweler that buys used gold and metals. They can melt them down and reuse them just like the bigger names. You can also check out Cash4Gold- they are supposed to be pretty reasonable.

IF you mean where can you get the best price, that would be if you could deal directly with a refiner, which would cut out several middlemen. Unfortunately, that is not easy to do, so your local jewelry store is probably your best bet.

Cash 4 Gold has been around for years. Basically you send them an envelope in the mail filled with all of the gold that you no longer want. Also include a self addressed stamped envelope. They will review the gold you've sent them, determine the value they'll purchase it for, and send you a check back in the envelope.
