Each state has various statutes of limitations for various felonies, including the degrees of each. Some crimes, like murder, do not have a SOL. You can look up the information online with regard to specific crimes.

If you are referring to a statute of limitation, it varies, depending on the crime. There is no single statute of limitation that applies to all felony crime.

Different crimes carry different statutes of limitation. Specific criminal and civil claims are spelled out by law, so it depends. The SOL is two years for slander/libel but six years on written contracts. Criminal acts vary as well. Also, some crimes have no SOL.

The felony limitations should be the same as in several other states, which could be seven to ten years after the crime occurred.

Every state is different. The SOL for any crime is specific to that crime.  add a comment
