The law in Florida states that your wages can be garneshed after a judgement has been made. I do not think there is any real legal way to stop it because they are allowed to garnish not only your wages but also you bank account. Rule of thumb, pay your bills so you don't have to worry.

They are the same as other major cities in the U.S. I recommend go seeing your lawyer to find the best way out.
