Franconi syndromeis a disorder that can be inherited or congenital and affects the normal functioning of the kidneys leading to reabsorption of electrolytes and nutrients such as glucose,amino acids etc and symptoms such as dehdration,frequent urination,excess thirst etc.

Franconi's Syndrome is a disease of the kidneys. The renal tubules allow uric acid, glucose, amonio acids, phosphate and bicarbinate to be passed into the urine and eliminated from the body instead of being reabsorbed as they should be. The disease can be genetic, or it may be caused by drugs or poisoning from heavy metals.

Named for Swiss pediatrician Guido Franconi, this is a renal tubule disorder in which glucose, phosplates, and uric acid are retained in the urine instead of being reabsorbed in the blood stream.

It is actually called Fanconi's syndrome and it is a kidney disease. Instead of reabsorbing molecules and nutrients that the body needs, the kidneys excrete them causing deficiencies.

I believe you mean Fanconi's syndrome,not Franconi's syndrome.This is an inherited form of anemia which is hard to cure,but some patients have undergone bone marrow transplants with some success.
