Question by  Mohammed (21)

If I am having lower back pain and frequent urination could I have a kidney infection?

I do not have any burning, but am going to the bathroom a good bit more than normal and have a lot of low back pain.

It is possible. Kidney pain often radiates to the lower back. You could also have a kidney stone. See a doctor.

These can be symptoms of a kidney infections but there are also other issues to consider. These symptoms can also be found in kidney stones, blood clots in one or both kidney. In women, this also can be symptomatic of having an ovarian cyst, a rupture of an ovarian cyst, or ovarian torsion.

There is not enough information here to determine what is going on The lower back pain and frequent urination could be form drinking to much c affine and not enough water, however a sever kidney infection can lead to life threatening complications you might want to contact your doctor and see what they recommend. I hope this helps.
