They look like any other fish just born with googly eyes. They tend to be some version of a pale brown with non distinctive goldfish features developed yet.

Immediately after hatching, baby goldfish look very little like adult goldfish. Once hatched, baby goldfish have yet to acquire their characteristic orange coloring, and instead appear transparent or slightly gray in color. The most apparant features at this point are the dark eyes near the head and the visible spinal column extending down the body.

Basically they look like little tiny goldfish. They are very small in size, you can barely notice them at the earliest stages of life. They are orange in color just like an adult goldfish.

After hatching from their eggs larval gold fish will be long and slender, white or lightly colored with part of the egg yolk still attached. The fish is still developing at this point and can't swim as well as an adult. When the yolk sac is fully absorbed it will look like a miniature adult fish.
