Can goldfish get tumors?

How would you even diagnose a goldfish with a disease?

yes, goldfish can get a tumor. In fact every animal on the planet can get one! it is extremely difficult to diagnose one unless the tumor is obviously visible. You can also see if the tummy is abnormally swollen of if the goldfish pees out blood in the urine or passes blood in the stools - both very difficult to see!

Well to diagnose it, you may notice a change in color. You may notice a change in shape and or size. And this will all lead to the diagnosis of the disease.

Definitely yes! A relative of mine had goldfishes and one of them once developed a tumor. It was clearly visible with the pure eye.

Yes they can. no way to tell if the tumore is cancerous without a vet. in rare cases the tumors can transmit TB to humans. tumors are ugly and unless you know how to properly amputate, leave them alone, there is no treatment.

Goldfish can definitely get tumors. Usually when a fish has a disease, they behave different. Like go off feed, act lethargic, clamped fins, fuzzy growths, red streaking, spots, or shaking. They develop symptoms that are common with whatever particular disease they get.

I am sure they can they are a living organism. You can try calling a vet but I am not sure they know much about fish. You can try going online and searching it they may have some things on there that can help you out they usually have some good information in there.
