Basically what is happening is the blood vessels in your skin and extremities are being shunted to your brain and organs. This is the bodies response to shock.

You just finished exercise, or if it's a very hot day. Your body produces sweat to cool your skin. Be careful of dehydration. Rest, drink lots of water, or eat some fresh fruit.

You could be experiencing heat stroke or heat stress. Your body is trying to adjust to being overheated. Get to a cool place.

It is very possibly that I could be suffering from the flu or a cold. I probably have been feeling hot and cold chills at the same time.
