A rash in your armpit could be caused by shaving. If you haven't used any different products to wash with or changed deodorant then shaving could be to blame. Make sure you use a fresh razor and shaving cream when shaving your armpits. If this doesn't help I would contact a dermatologist.

It's caused by shaving as well as constantly applying deodorant. Don't apply deodorant when going to bed at night so the pores in your armpits can breathe freely.

The most common reasons for a rash in an armpit are due to excessive sweating, tight clothing, change in laundry detergent, shaving too close or dry shaving. A less common reason could be due to a new prescription which can cause a rash anywhere on the body.

There can be many causes for an armpit rash. You may be allergic to a new soap. Sometimes shaving too much will result in a rash. Hot weather can cause a rash to an area that doesn't get much air but has a lot of moisture. You could also be allergic to a new laundry soap.
