I think it's a bad idea. Marriage works better when people have a chance to get to know each other in a genuine relationship. Tell your friend to be patient.

I believe it is very risky. I do not think it is very safe because you never actually know about their past. You never know if they are ever really going to be interested

Mail order husbands can be dangerous. Only after a background check is done should anyone consider thinking about using this option.
