First off, If you suspect your child may have Autism get him tested right away. The biggest sign you will see is that he won't be developing as fast as children his age. He may not be crawling when he's supposed to or he may just look a bit "Slow".

Autism is not detected till a child is at least three years of age, at one year of age they may show autistic tendicies but doctors will not diagnose it.
