Beneficiaries to a will are entitled to receive the property described in the will upon the death of the owner; as directed by the will and as allowed by law.

Beneficiaries have the right to the details of the will once it is certified and filed with the state. Beneficiaries have the right to see the estimated value of the estate and to supervise or review the actions of the executor. Beneficiaries can file complaints if the executor is wasting funds, embezzling or stealing from the estate.
