Cheetahs are the fastest land walking animals. Although "walking" isn't what they do fast; they are high-speed runners. They sneak up on prey animals and then sprint after them at speeds reportedly as fast as 65 miles per hour.

The fastest land animal is the cheetah. it can reach speeds up to 100km and hour. but it can only run for a few seconds at top speed because it does not have enough stamina to keep going. Cheetahs are big cats and are related to lions, tigers, house cats and Pumas
