This is a very common issue among Labs. You should take them to the vet and ask about any medication that may help with the pain. There are surgeries that you can do to eliminate their discomfort but they are relatively expensive. Ask your vet about a Glucosamine pill.

You should take it to a vet to see the extent of the problem and what your choices are as the dog gets older. I would also be sure to find out if you should have a special diet for the dog. Good luck.

Many hip problems in Labradors are caused by "Hip Dysplasia. " This disorder is caused by a number of genetic and other factors, and is corrected either by medicine or surgery.

Get your dog some glucosamine tablets. You could also purchase hip and joint treats or supplements for the dog instead.
