My dog ate bread and does not feel good, could he be allergic to wheat?

Yes, dogs can be allergic to the gluten in the wheat. Gluten is most commonly found in foods made with whole wheat. Bread is not a normal part of a dog's diet, so a large serving could feel uncomfortable in your pet's stomach.

It's possible he's allergic to wheat, but it could also be simply that he's not used to eating bread and that is why he doesn't feel good.

A dog's symptoms of an allergic reaction are the like peoples; rashes, swelling, etc. If he has these symptoms it's possible he's allergic. Talk to a vet to be sure.

Not medical advice: It is possible that he maybe allergic to wheat. BUT if his dog food contains wheat then it is highly unlikely. Alot of the foods out there right now have a main ingredient of wheat , corn and extra processed stuff. Which dogs can not process. Best of luck.
