Sounds like potty training is being used as a weapon against you. The more engaged and the more upset you are, the more power you surrender to the child. Stop reacting. Make it clear that you are done cleaning up and that s/he will have to tend these matters. No school and no friends until things improve dramatically.

At this age she is using it as a form of control. It is something she can do, however she does not as it gives her attention. If she wets on herself then she stays wet, she should also have to wash all her own wet and dirty clothes out.

Could he be afraid of the toilet? This is actually a common problem in children who will not potty train. At this point since he's starting school you should do anything you can to get him to go. That means bribing him with a new toy if you have to.

By 5 years a child should be fully potty trained, but don't worry sometimes there are exceptions and it's nothing serious. Just give him/her time and she will do it.

First of all take child to Doctor to make sure there aren't medical issues: pain. If that's not the issue then take away privileges. don't reward the child with toys, candy etc. as a way of bribing the child - they will think its ok.
