Commitment, consistence, and patience are key! Potty training can take up to six weeks, although an established routine should get her attention after about two weeks. Most puppies need to go out approximately fifteen minutes after eating and/or waking up. Have a leash ready and good luck!

I recommend keeping your puppy confined to a kennel when not directly supervised. Take her outside immediately after removing her from her kennel. Also, take her outside 30 minutes after eating or drinking. If she doesn't "go" then she needs to be taken out every 15 minutes or so until she does.

First of all don't shove their nose in their mistake (just clean it up with a small amount of bleach)! They don't understand why you're doing it! Set up a reasonable schedule for your puppy to go out - right after they have something to eat, right when you get up, and before you go to bed.

The easiest way to get a puppy a good potty training is to buy a dog kennel. You need to keep your dog inside the kennel over night. After five to six hours you take your puppy and go outside with it. Start extending the hours a few days.

Crate training is the easiest way to train a young puppy. You will get the potty trained to the crate and then gradually give them more freedom.
