No, I don't think it would be tacky.There are so many great styles you can achieve with silver shoes. As long as what you are wearing has some silver in it, you will look great. Prom is the perfect place to wear those shoes because everyone will be dressed up and you will look stylish.

Silver shoes and other metallics are in style. Most likely for a prom, you will be wearing a long dress and will not be able to see the shoes.
