You could wear a nice black dress with gold shoes. A short, black cocktail dress would look nice with gold shoes. You could also wear a gold dress or any dress with gold and another color in it.
Gold is a very difficult colour to try and coordinate with other ones, but I would recommend perhaps a beige or tan pant, which might try and hide the gold shoes as much as possible.
