Cymbalta (aka Duloxetine, Yentreve) is a serotonin-norepinephrine re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) by Eli Lilly. It is primarily used to treat major depressive disorders. It is also used to treat diabetic peripheral neuropathy, a painful nerve disorder that can affects the hands, legs, and feet of diabetic patients.

That is exactly what cymbalta is good for. It is a good antidepressent but there are down sides. It has more side affects than other antidepressents and there are a lot to chose from. It also does not come it generic form so it can be pricey.
