Is a Chevy Lumina a good bet when shopping for a used car?

I'm looking at a 1995.

I personally wouldn't go with a Chevy Lumina. Looking around the same price and same year I suggest a Honda Civic or even an Acura Integra. They have been known to last for very high miles.

Chevy Luminas are equivalent to the Yugo's of the 1970's. They are terrible vehicles which will require a lot of maintenance; consider a lincoln town car.

They are fairly good cars. Make sure you change the oil in it faithfully. Overall they are a good car. They also look good if you take care of the body. I would not pay anything over four thousand dollars for the car though because it is fifteen years old.

Personally unless I need a temporary car or it was extremely cheap then I would not purchase it. They are not the most dependable or fuel efficient for the money. I would keep looking for a better alternative.
