You should be able to tow a very small boat. If you have anything more than a Jon Boat, you should get a truck.

A Chevy Lumina is good gor towing a boat like George Herman Ruth was good at professional football, played at the level and intensity of 2009. Of course this car can't tow a boat, unless it is a tiny little thing and then you can put in on the roof.

No this type of vehicle is not designed for towing a boat. That is not to say you cant do it but do not try to take a mountain pass.

No, I would definitely not want to tow a boat with one. Especially a heavier boat. They just don't have the load capacity of a larger vehicle. They don't really have the engine torque needed either.

unless you went for an engine upgrade a 165 horse 3. 8L V6 with a 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission then you're up to 3000 pounds of towing. Other models max at around 2000 to 2400 lbs, so unless your boat plus trailer are very light it probably won't work well.

It really depends on the type of Lumina you have. YOu need to calculate the weight of the boat as well as the weight of the trailer.
