There's no question that '78 F150's are in demand. Resale value for a car this old depends on how many miles you have on the engine. If it's below 100,000 and many of the original parts are in good working order, you could be sitting on a trophy truck worth up to $45,000. Check out the auctions, it's amazing!

Unfortunately those are nt the most rare or desirable years of the older F150s. The most you could expect for a perfectly restored truck would be $9k to $10k.

the 1978 ford is a nice truck with a 460 in it.
