In order to view data in a pivot table, you will need to copy it from Access into Excel and go to the data and pivot table options, this cannot be done in Access.

First of all, you should check to see if the data that you've created is in a PivotTable accepted format, I would suggest checking the Microsoft Support website here: http://office. microsoft. com/en-us/access/HA010345801033. aspx Next, make sure that your data is aligned correctly in the cells that you want. A common mistake is to not have the correct cell data lined up.

First, you should make sure that you created your pivot table correctly. This is especially important if you're importing data from a database other than Access. Next, you should make sure that you wrote your queries correctly. If you get a null result with the PIVOT syntax, try querying the database without it.

Access allows you to change the way you view your data. In order to see the data in a pivot table, go to the "View" menu and choose "PivotChartView. "

Create a new formular: "pivot table". Choose a table as data source. Select the fields from the selected table. Click on finish. Now you can see different areas of the pivot table. With drag and drop you can drag now filter fields onto the corresponding pivot table area. The same you can do with rowfields. Thats it.
