It is supposed to be used every 30 days, without baths 2 days within giving it to your dog. It is a pretty powerful toxin that should not be applied more often than necessary and you should always watch carefully to be sure your dog doesn't try to lick the pesticide off his/her fur.

Advantage is a flea control product. In dogs it is quite effective in killing fleas and their eggs. It begins working within 3-5 minutes upon application. See product insert on proper administrative technique. Advantage is a once a month treatment so should be applied every 30 days.

When you use spot on Flea and Tick remover the recommended dose is once a month. Don't go any sooner than that or you will over medicate your dog. They usually give you little stickers for your calender in order to keep track of the last time you gave your dog the medication.

One dose is good for thirty days. If you're planning to give the dog another treatment, do it a couple days before OR after a bath.
