Get radio codes. Disconnect battery Disconnect alternator wires. Loosen top and bottom mounting bolts and adjuster. Slide alternator to remove belt. Remove mounting bolts. Remove alternator. To install do the reverse.

Depending on what car your replacing it in first thing you should do is unhook the positive cable on your battery. You will need wrenches for the alternator. A crowbar will be needed to set the tension.

this is how you replace a alternator first you unhook all the wires on it. then you take off the bolts that are holding it down

Well first you disconnect the electrical connectors then loosen the bracket holing the alternator. Then you remove the bolts holding the alternator to the bracket. Then install the new one.
