The time it takes to train the puppy varies from puppy to puppy. You must be patient. If the puppy starts to urinate on any space that's not the training pad, then utter a loud "NO," take the puppy onto the training pad, and tell him or her "GOOD DOG!" YOu can also reward the dog with a treat!

Try getting a book or asking a dog trainer. Paper training a puppy takes time and patience. It could take as litle as a couple of days to weeks.

Use potty training pads, confinement to a small area, lots of praises and patience are the keys to success. On average, it would take 3 to 6 months to accomplish.

About 15 minutes after eating, place puppy on paper and wait until it "goes". Give lots of praise. Remove all of the paper except for small section.

Paper training a puppy is generally not a good idea. This teaches the puppy to go to the bathroom inside the house. It is much easier to simply crate train a puppy from the beginning. To do this you simply but the puppy in a crate at night or when you can not keep a close eye on him.

You put the papers down and every time you catch the puppy going somewhere it shouldn't you have to pick it up and put it on the papers and tell it thats where you go potty. As long as how long it will take that depends on the puppy and how persistant you are.
