How do opponents of the practice compare school uniforms to cons?

I agree that this is a very loose connection indeed. I suppose these people think uniforms enforce a lack of individuality in both cases.

THe students will all look alike, and individual differences dissapear of disscouraged. THerefore strict conformity and like mindedness are encouraged, like prison, individuality is discouraged.
