I think that my child is lieing to me about school closures and would like to be able to check to verify the information they are giving me.

Phillips Jr College in California has a website on which they display any and all important information to include school closures. Other methods are to check local news if something is happening or just call the school.

Wow. I think your child pulled the wool over your eyes! Schools in California rarely close because the weather and other factors aren't as major as other areas in the country. For example if you lived in Michigan your child would be home a lot in the winter due to snow. Check the website for the school.
