Florida ranges anywhere from Zone 8 to Zone 11. Zone 8 is the northernmost part, and the hardiness zone goes up the further south you are. Bananas should be grown in a Zone 7 or higher, so you should be able to grow bananas anywhere in Florida.

The tree zone for Florida depends on where you live. The growing zones are eight, nine and ten. You should contact your local nursery to determine what area you live in and what type of banana tree would grow well for you. They would also be able to help you learn how to maintain your tree.
