Adenocarcinoma of the cervix is a type of cervical cancer. However, a simple Pap test performed by a doctor annually can detect this and other forms of cervical cancer.
An abnormal PAP smear can be indicative of this. If found early the cervix can be treated with cryotherapy,laser,surgery or a combination of treatments.
This is the second most common type of cervical cancer. This type of cancer can be treated with surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy. Or a combination of all three.
