What is intramucosal adenocarcinoma?

We are talking about a cancer. "Adenocarcinoma" is a dangerous tumor that starts growing in an organ's glandular tissue. The word "intramucosal" means that something is actually occurring within a mucous membrane. This particular cancer will show up in the esophagus or the anal canal.

Adenocarcinoma is indeed a type of cancer of glandular cells like whose in the salivary gland or lung or gut etc. Intramucosal means that it is still inside the mucosa.

It is a type of cancer. It is a carcinoma, which is a type of cancerous cell, that is affecting the adrenal glands and operating between the mucosal membranes of the body. This can be very serious, and needs to be treated right away so that it doesn't get worse.

Intramucosal is lateral extension that may refer to lamina propria, basement membrane, or surface epithelium. Adenocarcinoma is invasive cancer. Usually intramucosal adenocarcinoma is histology of esophageal cancer.
