A direct deposit can not be reversed by the sending company. Once they have approved it, and sent it to your bank they can not reverse it. However a direct deposit can be rejected and sent back due to incorrect information, But this is on the banks end. Companies do not have the power to go into your account.

Once it's in there, whoever put it in there cannot take it out. You can however put a block on them directly depositing any money into your account. You just tell your bank that you do not want to accept any more deposits from these people and they will block them.

Depending on the type of reversal that you are looking to do. Some banks can do a reversal if there is a problem with the direct deposit.

Yes. If they determine that you should not have received the deposit a reversal can be initiated. This only works if you have enough funds in the account to retrieve.

In almost all cases, the answer is no. A deposit is money that has been credited to your account. It cannot be removed. If the check deposited was bad, they should not have credited the check. If someone pays you and then changes your mind, they cannot take the money out.
