Yes glaucoma is seen in dogs and more in some breeds than others. It may be treated with medication or if the eye is too damaged and the dog is blind the eye may be removed and the lids sewn together.

Glaucoma is fairly common in dogs as it is in humans. Glaucoma can be helped by surgery or medications that will relieve symptoms such as eye pressure and pain.
