Toshiba products, including their line of TVs, are usually under the "excellent category." They're up there in the namebrand war with other brands such as Sony, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Vizio and the like. The MD 24f51 is a decent CRT TV. It has digital combing and a flat display for wider and clearer viewing. Definitely recommended.

While I have never owned a Toshiba TV, I have used their computers. While the computer was good, I have not heard positive reviews of their televisions. "Buy their computers, not their televisions" is generally what I am told regarding Toshiba. However, do you due diligence and if you feel like it is a good fit, go for it.

Yes, I would buy a Toshiba tv, as it is a Japanese brand. And I trust Japanese technology. The MD 24f51 model has a DVD player, so you save money.

Yes, not only would I buy a Toshiba TV but I own one. I think they are wonderful and a great buy. They can go for a great price, and they are great and most definitely worth it. The sound and pixel quality are great and I have never had a problem with mine.

Toshiba is a reputable company with an extensive line of electronic products. Before making any purchase, it is important to consider the warranties provided with the item.
