Will I be denied for my pell grant?

I filed for bankruptcy, and they put my student loan on my bankruptcy. Now I applied for financial aid and it came back that I need to call them to see if i can get my pell grant.

This doesn't necessarily mean you will be denied, but they most likely will want you to explain how you will be able to pay. Just be friendly and you will hopefully get your way!

If you have filed for bankruptcy, it is highly likely the grant will be denied if you just applied. If you were approved and it was still processing, the grant may or may not go through depending on whether or not another credit check will be run. You can still apply for scholarships.

You can't abolish student loans on a bankruptcy. You will have to pay those. Pell Grants are for students who don't have a lot of money. Only the people in charge of giving these grants could tell you if you qualify or not.
