There are different kinds of hernias in different location. Most involve a weakness or tear in the abdominal wall that allows tissue or intestines to protrude into the cap. The muscle wall is repaired and the tissue/intestines put back where they belong. A strong abdominal muscles will help you get a flat belly, not surgery for a hernia.

Hernia surgery repairs a tear in the muscle wall of the abdomen. A flat stomach is the result of strong abdominals as well as a minimal amount of fat in that area. After surgery, talk to your doctor about what exercises are best for you to achieve your workout goals.

It can help if some fat and skin is retired during the surgery , however this is not an abdominal reduction surgery, its purpose is to repair the abdominal wall and to get back the organs to their right place so you donĀ“t have a ischemia because an organ strangulation.

Nothing doing like that. Don't dream for a flat stomach unless you do some particular exercises daily for a limited period. Do yoga from a trained teacher to have a flat stomach. Do not believe any medicine will give you a flat stomach. The medicines will sure give a lots of side effects which is sure for any one.
